Outreach
At Jefferson UMC, our outreach efforts reflect our commitment to serving others with compassion and care and we continually listen to the Spirit's prompting for more opportunities to serve. Below are some of our 2024 Outreach efforts:
-
Food and financial support to the Cloverleaf Foodbank and the Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, ensuring our neighbors have access to vital resources.
-
Heartful Hands, a local assisted living facility, providing meals, gifts and personal hygiene items year round.
-
Homebound member visitation during which we share connection and communion.
-
Wreaths Across America, honorably remembering our nation's heroes.

-
Cribs for Kids to promote safe sleep for infants.

-
Clean and Tidy Our Neighborhood, a local sustainability effort to keep non-recyclable plastics out of landfills.

Through these efforts, we strive to live out God’s love in action!
